Gold bulion found in an old library

I would like to tell you a story that happened in a small town in my area twenty years ago. There is a huge mansion in a nearby town. I suppose there is a museum in the building now, but it used to be a local library. It was a really beautiful library. The walls were covered in dark wood, there was a fireplace and long rows of books. It was a public library, but the mansion really belonged to an old man who had inherited the house from his parent. One day there was an accident in the house. One of the old walls collapsed. The librarian was alone at the place and fortunately she was not injured. After the accident, she noticed something in the debris. She saw some gold bullion bars! She did not know what to do at first, but she was a very righteous woman so she did not decide to take the gold. She called the owner of the building. When he arrived, the first thing that caught his eye was not the collapsed wall, but the gold bullion that was still lying on the floor. He said his great-great-grandfather was really a very rich man but he did not want to share his wealth with anyone. It was probably him who bricked up the gold. The owner of the mansion turned out to be a very stingy man himself, and he did not share his gold bullion with the librarian, which was something almost everybody in town found really disgusting.
